The menu at Furny’s is designed for you to enjoy your wine with an assortment of delicious gourmet meals and bites, including a selection of cheese and charcuterie platters.
The food that you’ll find at Furny’s Fine Wines is really what the Furny’s Fam find important in food and what we love to eat around the family dinner table for a special occasion, or just a good Sunday arvie get-together – delicious, unpretentious, simple but flavourful food. It is recommended to order a variety of dishes and share amongst the table – family style!
And wow – we have been doing some serious experimenting in the Furny’s kitchen, and we definitely think it’s paying off! Some new and exciting flavours from Asian inspired HOISIN STICKY CAULI NUGGETS ; ASIAN BRAISED BEEF BRISKET on top of rice noodles, topped w/ mint, coriander, red onion, cucumber, chilli chipotle peanuts, sesame seeds & lime dressing ; or let take it back to our routes and try the “LAMB POTJIE & PAP” – Succulent, slow cooked Lamb Stew served w/ panko crusted pap, gremolata & parmesan… paired with your favourite wine.. Delicious.. Dine at our restaurant whilst these dishes are still in season and available.
And yes, our restaurant also offers breakfast! (Nothing wrong with having a little Mimosa or two to start the day! But we also make some of the most delicious coffee in town).
Our local baker and coffee maker: Furny’s gets our breads and pastries fresh everyday from our local baker, Clarence, and we are suppled with coffee from Noordhoek’s well known coffee maker, Guy Chaston, ‘The Coffee Guy’.
